Nick Rotondo is a 3D and 2D digital illustrator/animator whose technique is a fusion of traditional art and photorealism.
Using composition, color and light, his visionary solutions capture the highly technical and, when appropriate, the whimsical.

With over 20 years of experience fulfilling clients’ needs on time and on budget,
Nick holds a highly enviable reputation of delivering exceptional images professionally and always with an eye towards
triumphant collaboration. He works with publishers, editorial and corporate art directors.

Nick’s historic-based architectural visualizations educate a generation of young students. The detective work required to
authenticate the vast amounts of information for these commissions is an integral part of the illustration.
The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, for example, illustrates the details and logistics of a significant incident from
America’s industrialization history. The illustration makes the tragic episode come to life.

His work was featured in The Society of Illustrators 42nd Annual. A recent project is a 45-foot wall mural commissioned
for the welcome center at the W.L. Gore & Associates headquarters.

Nick's portfolio includes: technical cutaways, consumer and trade
advertising, editorial, trade exhibit panels, text book illustrations, historic visualizations,
animation and virtual prototypes used for pre-production design review and
marketing. To view Case Studies of Nick's work go to:
